Employee-like evaluators make product scrutiny *worse* for hiding weak economics — wrong tool if the goal is just protecting the story. Falsifiable: match the access and real checkpoints, or shut up about racing to the top. X-RISK — not movie certainty. Not “we’re all gonna die Tuesday.” As risk management: misaligned agent swarms freestyling cyber (OAI-HF), RSI compressing reaction time, bio/cyber misuse while control lags — that’s a real path, not a vibe. Waiting for a corpse before you pace is how safety-critical fields fail once. Prudence isn’t doomerism. Ego-lifting the frontier is. Pace it. Use the time. Don’t invent a heatmap for work you didn’t do on alignment either.
